Kraut Sounds - Monuments (Minialbum)
from Kraut Sounds Hosted by Kraut Sounds
Remember "2001: A Space Odyssey"? The black monolith on the moon? Got the same feeling when traveling through the Toscany area near Volterra. In a sundried vast landscape there was suddenly this ring-shaped monument. Like something from out of this world. Impressive and inspiring. "Monuments" captures this motive and cinematic reminiscense in seven tracks that oscillate between dub, abstract and Kraut electronic with plenty of weird sounds, moving rhythms and subsonic basslines. Recorded within two days end of Dec 2019 with sort of Punkrock attitude: It's not the perfect pitch, it's the energy that counts. Tracklist: 1. Black Monolith / 2. Jupiter's Right / 3. Monuments / 4. Magnetic Anomaly / 5. Down In History / 6. Eye Of Hal / 7. Beyond The Infinite The CD version of "Monuments" contains four additional tracks: "Random Objects", "Subversive", "Tempera" and "Acid Test". Originally released in February 2019 as "Tempera EP" (Terra Rossa TR_L).
