Som en udløber af den konflikt er der også udbrudt kampe mellem Israel og den iransk-støttede Hizbollah-milits i Libanon. Det er en krig, som lægger sig i forlængelse af årtiers fjendskab og også i denne omgang har potentiale til at eskalere og blive meget voldsom. Gør den det, vil det få store konsekvenser for civilbefolkningen i området og for Libanon på et større plan – især med krigen i Gaza i baghovedet.  Månedens gæst, ph.d.
