Kris Jenkins Returns to Villanova | Villanova Wildcats Basketball News

Kris Jenkins, the Villanova legend who sank that unforgettable buzzer-beater in 2016, is back on campus—not as a player, but as an Athletics Operations Coordinator, ready to champion student-athletes across all sports. After a pro career overseas and a hip injury that ended his playing days, he’s now focused on Name, Image, and Likeness rights, helping athletes get fair representation. He’s soaking up campus life again, supporting basketball’s legacy while elevating soccer, volleyball, and baseball. With plans to connect with current and former athletes and collaborate with alumni, Jenkins sees himself as part of Villanova’s enduring athletic story—authentic, passionate, and uniquely himself.
