Krishnamurti on Actuality

‘We are not pursuing ideas or ideologies, but facing actuality. In actuality, and going beyond that actuality, is the truth.’ This week’s episode on Actuality has four sections. The second extract (20:51) is from the first talk at Brockwood Park in 1974, titled ‘Deal with actuality, not ideas’. The third extract (32:48) is from Krishnamurti’s first talk in Saanen 1975, titled ‘Awareness of actuality’. The final extract in this episode (58:53) is from the second talk in Madras 1979, titled ‘Is the self an actuality?’ Season three of the Krishnamurti podcast continues with the format of extracts carefully chosen from the philosopher’s talks. Each weekly episode focuses on a theme explored by Krishnamurti and the aim is to represent his different approaches to these universal topics.
