KRISTIE HINTON: LEAD BEYOND YOUR COMFORT ZONE - MAKING THE DECISION TO LEAVE WHAT'S COMFORTABLE TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE

Kristie Hinton was born in Detroit, Michigan, but raised as a southern girl in Arkansas and Tennessee. She earned her bachelors degree in Elementary from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 and taught Prek-4th grades for 20 years. She began experimenting with natural hair and locs in 2008 and was introduced to Sisterlocks in 2010. She became a certified Sisterlocks Consultant in 2017. In 2020 she took a leap of faith and left her career as an educator to do hair full time.
