I am a 27-year-old graduate student at UNCW. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 in September of 2021. Being a graduate student and having Bipolar has been a challenge. The effects of the disorder often reflect on my schoolwork. I didn’t think I would make it through graduate school, but with a lot of effort and determination (and medication), I am almost at the finish line, and I am very proud of that.
