1905年明治38年、6月21日の明け方、当時大阪の堀江にあった山梅楼という遊郭で、そこの主人中川萬次郎が親類など6人を日本刀で◯りつけ、5人を◯害、1人に重傷を負わせた事件。唯一の生き残りだった妻吉という芸妓は、両腕を切り落とされるも、その後旅芸人として全国をまわり、高野山で得度し、大石順教として事件を語り継いだ。
