Rumors to the contrary, activism is not dead on school and college campuses. We talk with Hoku Jeffrey, the southern California coordinator of BAMN, an activist group organizing youth to fight for immigrant rights and affirmative action. The discussion comes in the wake of an arrest of a labor activist at UC Berkeley by campus police who subsequently reported him to immigration authorities for possible deportation.
