Kuemper Is Locked In
from Rinkside with Aarif Deen Hosted by Mile High Sports
The Avalanche stretched their winning streak to six games following a 2-1 shootout victory in Edmonton. Aarif and J.J. break down the Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid battle and Darcy Kuemper stealing the show. They discuss the crazy sequence in overtime and the goaltending battle thanks to a sharp performance from Mikko Koskinen. The guys then have a longer chat about Kuemper's readiness for the playoffs. They also chat about the returns of Bowen Byram and Samuel Girard and Erik Johnson getting scratched on Saturday. The show ends with a look at the Western Conference playoff picture and an announcement tease from the guys. All that and more on this edition of Hockey Mountain High: Your go-to Avalanche Podcast.
