Kuhumbĩrwo na Thakame

Blood in the scriptures was used for covering. The mercy seat the covered the Ark of the covenant used to be sprinkled with blood which acted as a covering. When God who is Holy would look at the Ark of the Covenant that represented his presence, God would not see the ten commandments that had been broken or his provision of manna that had been taken for granted. He would not also see rebellion against leadership represented by the rod of Aaron but would see the blood covering that begged for mercy. Believers are covered by the blood of Jesus against any accusation or attack that the enemy can make against them.
