Kurdish Family Targeted by Teenagers in Salford | Manchester News

A Kurdish family in Salford is being terrorized by a gang of teenagers throwing rocks and eggs at their home—often laced with racist slurs—forcing them to consider leaving their community after nearly two years of escalating abuse. Parents, both doctors, fear for their young children’s safety, especially after an egg was hurled through a window while their four-year-old watched. Despite reporting the incidents to police, they feel ignored, with officers suggesting absurd solutions like asking supermarkets to stop selling eggs. Authorities say they’re actively investigating, reviewing CCTV, and increasing patrols—but the family says nothing has stopped the harassment, and their future in Salford hangs in the balance.
