Kurse - Episode 059

from The Armory Podcast · host DJ Zach Moore

We have our good pal, Mafia Kiss, to thank for bringing this week's talented guest, Kurse, to The Armory. Kurse (aka Kris Barker) is both a DJ and producer known in his native London as one half of AK Soundsystem and for his work with the renowned Hot Cakes label. We're excited to have him in The Armory this week. Press play. Get down. For the complete track listing visit: http://djzachmoore.com/podcast/the-armory-podcast-059/ Kurse is a DJ and producer from the outskirts of London who, since 2007, has gained notoriety for his fast paced, cut 'n' chop, bass heavy DJ mixes. Playing a varied mix of bass music, Kurse leaves no one standing still as he brings the fire to any sound system.  As one half of AK SOUNDSYSTEM , originator of The Naughty Cool boat parties and supporting the likes of The Stanton Warriors, Deekline, Elite Force and Krafty Kuts ,to name just a few, he has become inextricably linked with the UK underground breakbeat and bass music scene. Through releasing regular DJ mixes, personal productions and having collaborated with Mafia Kiss and AK (Se7en Deadly Breaks) on some successful remix projects he is day by day increasing his following around the globe.
