Kurtiss Riggs on NDSU-to-FBS, USD's coaching change, Super Bowl

All of a sudden, poof, they were gone.   On Friday afternoon, we found out South Dakota head football coach Travis Johansen took the defensive coordinator job at Rutgers and co-offensive coordinator Matt Vitzthum was immediately promoted to replace Johansen.    By the end of the weekend, North Dakota State had officially agreed to accept an invitation to the Mountain West Conference. By doing so, the Bison immediately left behind the Missouri Valley Football Conference and FCS landscape it had spent 15 years dominating, not to mention their rivalries with North Dakota, South Dakota State, and USD.   Monday's Happy Hour with John Gaskins shines a bright light on both events.    Long-time Midco Sports television college football analyst Kurtiss Riggs — who has deep connections with coaching staffs at SDSU, USD, and NDSU — unloads his thoughts the Bison's move and what it means for the Jackrabbits, Coyotes, and the rest of the FCS.   Should SDSU and USD chase the FBS now?
