Maybe you’ve heard that advice (it actually feels a little out of step these days) that you should not discuss politics or religion “in polite company.” Considering what is in the news these days, that could be pretty hard to pull off. So, can we keep critically important conversations going, but keep them polite? Junice and Rock Rockman are Central Texas life and relationship coaches, certified by an International Coaching Federation-accredited program. And they say, yes you can. Just ahead of the midterm elections, they talked with KUT's Jennifer Stayton about why these conversations can get ugly and tense, and how to tame them a bit - while still holding strong to beliefs.
