KUT Interview: Navigating Back-to-School Feelings (For Children And Adults)

Tears, fears, excitement and uncertainty. All of those things and many others may have been flowing as Central Texas students are back in school after summer vacation. It can be easy to get caught up in the scramble of new spirals and schedules and the morning mad dash out the door. But Central Texas certified life and relationship coaches Junice and Rock Rockman encourage adult caregivers and children to slow down and focus on what is happening underneath the surface as the school year kicks off. They joined their 4th grade daughter Grace recently to talk with KUT's Jennifer Stayton about the feelings that can crop up at this time of year.
