Kyan Evans Returns to Medved's System | Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball News

Kyan Evans is poised to ignite the University of Minnesota’s offense as the starting point guard for the 2026-27 season, returning to the system that helped him thrive under head coach Niko Medved. After starring at Colorado State—where he averaged over 10 points and shot 45% from three while helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament’s second round—Evans brings proven scoring firepower and chemistry with teammates like Jaylen Crocker-Johnson and Brian Cooley. His recent NIL deal at UNC hints at savvy growth, but his reunion with Medved signals a strategic move to build on past success. With Evans leading the charge, Minnesota’s offense could be primed for a breakout campaign. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
