Kylar Broadus

Kylar W. Broadus, Esq has a list of accolades 'a mile long' which we don't talk about. You'll find them there on his website and here in BEQPride Magazine titled "Seeing All of Me." We mostly talk about what it was like growing up in Fayette with his protective and supportive parents. "We didn't know we were poor." He and I revered the same Fayette HS English and Spanish teacher, Alice Burke. He went to Central Methodist and was SGA President and brought the world to campus. Mizzou law school was a natural since at 5 years old he was playing Perry Mason. He joined the faculty at Lincoln University in Jefferson City where we met. Oh, and by the way, he was the 1st Black Trans Man to testify before Congress, but we didn't even mention that. We didn't even get to his jazz trumpet. Did he ever play with Kenny Greene?
