Kým kotlebovcom stačila opozícia, Milán Uhrík má ambíciu vládnuť

Predstavitelia Republiky sa snažia od svojho odchodu z ĽSNS zbaviť fašistickej reputácie. Gardistické uniformy nahradili obleky. Tým hlavným dôvodom je snaha vládnuť a byť pri moci, čo sa Kotlebovi nikdy nepodarilo. Podľa politológa Tomáša Nociara, ktorý sa venuje krajne pravicovým ideológiám, je hnutie Republika spoločensky a politicky viac akceptovanejšie ako Kotlebová ĽSNS. Parlament sa budúci týždeň pokúsi na mimoriadnej schôdzi odvolať predsedu parlamentu Borisa Kollára. Politológ Radoslav Štefančík tvrdí, že by niektoré politické strany mohli podržať Kollára vo funkcii z dôvodu, aby si ho proti sebe nepohnevali krátko pred parlamentnými voľbami.
