Neměli bychom však přehlížet přítomnost arabských křesťanů v Izraeli a na palestinských územích.Tento seminář je cestou do nedávné historie našich palestinských bratří a sester ve víře a jejich zkušeností s válkou a mírem na Blízkém východě. Jak jejich chápání Bible formovalo jejich víru a přesvědčení po vzniku židovského státu Izrael? Nahlédneme do díla palestinských kontextuálních teologů Naima Stifana Ateeka, Mitriho Raheba a Munthera Isaaca, abychom prozkoumali společná témata a otázky, kterými se zabývají při pastoraci věřících ve svých sborech a prorocky promlouvají k celosvětové církvi. / The recent outbreak of war between Hamas and Israel easily lures us into choosing sides in a political conflict. But we should not overlook the presence of Arab Christians in Israel and the Palestinian territories.This seminar is a journey into the recent history of our Palestinian brothers and sisters in faith, and their experiences of war and peace in the Middle East. How has their understanding of the Bible shaped their beliefs and convictions, after the creation of the Jewish state of Israel? We will look into the work of the Palestinian Contextual Theologians Naim Stifan Ateek, Mitri Raheb, and Munther Isaac, in order to explore the common themes and issues that they address in pastoring the believers in their congregations and prophetically speaking to the worldwide church.
