La Gran Muralla China

La construcción de la Gran Muralla China fue ordenada por el Emperador Qin, durante la dinastía del mismo nombre, para defender a su reino contra las tribus nómadas merodeadoras; y continuó a través de las sucesivas dinastías chinas. La parte de la muralla, que permanece hasta hoy, formaba parte de la Ruta de la Seda y fue construida durante la dinastía Ming. Se extiende por unos 6.350 kilómetros.
