El bombardeo a un hospital en Gaza del que Israel y Palestina se acusan mutuamente, con más de 500 muertos, ha dinamitado parte de los esfuerzos diplomáticos de hoy para parar atenuar la crisis. Joe Biden ya está en Israel pero no se verá con los mediadores árabes que han cancelado su encuentro. El ataque ha provocado protestas por todo el mundo, especialmente en los países musulmanes, en algunos se han atacado embajadas y consulados de Israel y EEUU. El conflicto amenaza una vez más con extenderse tras las palabras del líder supremo de Irán, Alí Jamenei: si no se detiene el genocidio en Gaza nadie podrá parar a los musulmanes. Hacer lo posible porque esto no pase es la intención de la UE. Así lo acordaron los líderes de los 27 reunidos ayer de forma extraordinaria para analizar el conflicto que también ha estado sobre la mesa del encuentro entre Vladimir Putin y Xi Jinping en Pekín. Varios países han elevado la alerta antiterrorista tras sucesos como el ataque de Bruselas que costó la vida a dos ciudadanos suecos y calificado como atentado terrorista. El parlamento ruso ha aprobado revocar el Tratado de Prohibición Completa de los Ensayos Nucleares, por lo que Moscú podría volver a efectuar este tipo de pruebas.
