Si l’on parle beaucoup de la pollution extérieure, sachez que nous passons 80 à 90 % de notre temps en intérieur… et l’air peut y être jusqu’à 5 fois plus pollué que dehors !Mais que respire-t-on exactement ? Composés chimiques issus de peintures, colles ou vernis, produits ménagers, particules fines de cuisson, bougies ou encens, moisissures, allergènes comme acariens et poils d’animaux… et parfois fumée de tabac ou résidus de solvants.À court terme, cette exposition peut provoquer fatigue, maux de tête, irritation des yeux ou des voies respiratoires. Sur le long terme, elle aggrave l’asthme, les allergies et peut provoquer des troubles respiratoires chroniques, surtout chez les enfants.Faut-il paniquer ? Non, mais agir simplement : aérer 10 minutes matin et soir, limiter les sprays parfumés, choisir des produits ménagers simples, surveiller l’humidité, et laisser dégazer les meubles neufs. Les plantes dépolluantes sont sympas, mais pas suffisantes seules.La pollution intérieure est un vrai enjeu : elle influence notre énergie, notre sommeil et même notre immunité.
