La Salle Athletics Kicks Off Busy Week: Mens Basketball, Swimming, Baseball, and More La Salle athletics is gearing up for a packed week, with mens basketball leading the charge as they enter the Atlantic Ten Championship in Pittsburgh as the twelfth seed. They face off against thirteenth-seeded Saint Bonaventure in the first round on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at PPG Paints Arena. The Explorers have a slight edge after their recent 78-74 victory over the Bonnies in January. In the world of swimming, divers from both the mens and womens teams will compete at the N C A A Zone A Championships in Annapolis from Monday through Wednesday. Sophomore Calvin LeBlanc secured second place in the three-meter dive at the A-Ten Championships, setting the stage for strong performances from the team. Baseball continues its intense schedule with five more games, including a matchup against Big Five rival Villanova on Tuesday and a midweek home game against Lafayette. Theyll then open conference play at VCU this weekend in Richmond. Other action includes womens lacrosse hosting Kennesaw State on Wednesday and George Washington on Saturday. Water polo will face Villanova at home on Wednesday and VMI and Wagner at Villanova over the weekend.
