In questi giorni nelle sale italiane, il film “Il Nibbio” racconta la storia di Nicola Calipari, Alto dirigente del SISMI, che sacrifica la sua vita per salvare la giornalista de “Il Manifesto” Giuliana Sgrena. In questo podcast, il giornalista del Corriere della Sera Giovanni Bianconi, ricostruisce tutti gli aspetti della vicenda avvenuta il 4 marzo del 2005 in Iraq. Nicola Calipari è ucciso ad un posto di blocco da soldati statunitensi, mentre si reca in macchina – assieme alla giornalista e all’autista Andrea Carpani – all’aeroporto di Baghdad, nelle fasi immediatamente successive alla liberazione di Giuliana Sgrena. Sono state prodotte due versioni dell’accaduto, una italiana ed una americana, fra loro contrastanti in molti punti. A cura di Francesco De Leo.
