Labia Minoraplasty Anesthesia and Marking

If you have seen that one then proceed!What you will learn:* Be sure all consents are signed before any anesthesia of any kind is given.* Be sure all Pre Op Photos are already done, preferably the day before. Numbing cream makes the labia look puffy and edematous.* Patient comes to the office already numb: they place the BLT numbing cream at home an hour before arriving at the office. She places clear plastic wrap over it to prevent soiling her clothes.* Have a blue marker or two for placing the dots then connecting them* I prefer placing the microtumescent local anesthesia first before markings because markers run and disappear when local anesthesia gets it wet and you wipe it off with a 4x4. * Be conservative in your initial markings so you avoid removing too much labia. * You can always remove more tissue but you really cannot add tissue when you overdo it.
