This is a friendship of two girls trying to find their place in high school and not fitting in, and especially for Christine trying on new things, hobbies, and friendships, boys just to see what works and figuring it all out. But when doing that you can hurt your true friends along the way. This story is definitely more about Christine finding herself and escaping her hometown. We also discuss a Christine's relationship with her mother, as they are not friends like Lorelai and Rory, but it's a huge part to how Christine treats people around her and figuring out who she is.
