Lake Chad and The Headwaters Of the Nile

This week we move to the peoples living around Lake Chad, the eastern Sahel, the southern Nile, and its tributaries between 6000-4000 BC(E) and the expansion of pastoralism and agriculture. We also go over the idea of a macro Nilo-Saharan language and some of the pushback and criticism that got. We talk about the etymology of the Nile and Chari rivers.
