This week they watched Lake Mungo, as suggested by Johnny Mocny from the We Are Movies podcast. Lake Mungo is a 2010 Australian horror/triller/mystery by writer/director Joel Anderson. It's a shame Joel doesn't seem to have any credits after this, because Lake Mungo, like the much more well known Australian horror film Babadook is an excellently crafted piece of existential art and storytelling.
