But the Lakers, short three starters already, fell behind early and never caught up, with only LeBron James (36 points) providing anything resembling offense. Things went from bad to worse as the Lakers added insult to injury by losing Luka Doncic to a leg contusion, giving no support for LeBron, as the Lakers fell victim to the Clippers, 103-88.
