The Lakers pick up their Summer League run in Vegas on Tuesday vs. the Clippers, and are looking to extend a thus far undefeated run in Sin City. Obviously, as is the caveat with all things "Summer League," it ain't the NBA, not everything directly translates at the Big Boy level, yada, yada, yada. But with that duly noted and acknowledged, several players are creating understandable excitement among fans and folks covering the Lakers. First round rookie Cameron Carr. Second round pick/second year (kinda) player Adou Thiero. South Bay Lakers defensive ace Chris Mañon. And South Bay Lakers holdover Arthur Kaluma, whose eye-popping showing last weekend in Vegas may put Rob Pelinka to a decision about an elevated, two-way contract.
