Hello hello hello hello hello yes hi so today in my podcast I'm going to have a very very special guest Anu Sia what's your last name Anu Sia what yeah yeah Anu Sia Anu and she is very passionate about a lot of artwork and then she's going to talk about what she loves to do and how she how she does what she does so tell me Anu Sia which grade are you in? I'm in 7th grade 7th grade okay so can you tell me something that you that you love the most what is your hobby? Actually I have many hobbies as well but painting is the best so can you tell me more about painting? Um painting actually it helps me relax after like studies or doing homework and like each color in the paint it has its own expression kind of so it's really useful to express our feelings and I also like the way the paint can flow on the canvas or the sheet and its use and shades of colors can be like cool So you said each color is something about expression can you tell me can you tell me can you tell me some and quickly in the sense like I won't use the word quickly can you tell me can explain like two or three colors so what expression do they like for me I don't know like I see red I see red I don't know what red express so do you have anything in your mind you have anything that you can tell me about the expression and which color is what?

Yes actually the moment you think about red it is this is anger and when you think about blue it expresses calmness like such a red I mean Can you tell me about blue? Blue is the excess calmness calmness okay okay like the sea okay and then you also said something about the spread of the color the hue what does what does it mean to you and when you paints like can you can you explain to me how it feels when you paint and you know like you know when you are painting a certain scenery or when you are painting a certain color how does it feel for you? It actually feels soothing and you know it actually it helps to relax your mind is like free from everything you just draw whatever you feel to paint Yeah but then I've seen your paintings it's not like I feel you seem to be painting with very firm hands and your painting comes out so clear and then so how does all those things happen if I do it doesn't happen actually I give it a lot of tries in the final one I just you know that's the out of it I just take the last one so we just come down to the best Yeah so when you say you try so let's say we want to paint a picture of a scenery okay a forest or something and so I try and then I don't like it so you don't give up is it I mean you just throw away the paper again you try another time you try another time is that what you do how does it go when you say try? Yeah that's all I do I just like if I do like the painting like it's not enough to like enough for my extra expectation so then I just paint another one You don't you don't get fed up I mean you don't say oh no just I don't want to do the painting but you feel that way sometimes but the best painting is my hobby so No, that's nice or younger like you to have so much of patience with the painting I'm blown away man okay let's go to the word relax I heard you say a couple of times relax I feel relaxed.

So what is the opposite of relax? I mean you said the painting makes you relax. So if you don't paint, let's say, what happens to you? I act like a very angry like I can't just study and do my homework all the time.

So it's like your entire brain is like filled up with all the studies and everything. So it just empties your mind and then again you can't trust it out. It just starts with the refreshing mind. Wow.

So when you study a lot, it really is filled with too many things. So you paint and you mean to say that when I say when I paint, I feel relaxed. It means that you're again helping your brain to get emptied with nice calm space so that you can put in the next brain work. You finish the painting, you finish the painting, you create an art by Lucia and then you're keeping your brain ready for the next maybe the next geography test or the math test to study for that.

Is that correct? Yes. Is that correct? Yes.

Okay. So how many hours do you paint every day? Not exactly but I paint once in two days or whenever I feel like. So who encourages you to paint?

Mostly my mother and my sister. Okay. So how do they encourage you? What did they say?

They say that you should try to find out your hobbies. Like first I did not have any such kind of hobby. Like painting was my hobby. I didn't know that I was talented.

It's like I don't know. So then when my mother just told me to draw a scenery like there was a picture on Google. She asked me to just like copying that same one of these people. So then I tried it and it turned out to be really great.

So that's when I, your painting started to become my hobby. So they just encourage me by giving words and inspiration. Then there are many videos also on YouTube that inspire me. Okay.

So videos, you Google and all that stuff. Right. So tell me, so when you watch a video, right, you watch a video painting, then how do you, how do you gather like, I watch a video painting. Okay.

I don't think I'm that talented to watch from that and then learn something and do it. So what, what is your learning mechanism? So what do you do? Do you just watch the entire video and start doing it yourself?

Or do you go take a break, you pause. Tell me about your learning style from the video to do your painting. Okay. Actually, because the videos are like too fast, I can't maintain the speed of the videos.

So just pause it. I do some steps and then again, I play it. I see what they're doing. Then again, I continue with the painting.

All some drawings are like pretty easy. So I have to go to the whatever is the last part. So I just, just copy that and then yeah. Okay.

So what is, what is the highest duration of time you have taken to do a painting? Highest, the longest. One hour, 15 minutes. So you can stay one hour, 15 minutes without stepping out of your zone and paint a picture.

Is that true? Yes. Wow. Brilliant.

So do you also, so do you draw the skeleton forest with a pencil and then you paint, you do both or drawing is something that you're saying, no, I'm not interested in drawing. I'll have somebody draw for me, but I'll do only the painting. What do you do? No, I draw it and then I just apply some paint.

Wow. That is so cool. What other hobbies do you have? Dancing.

Tell me about dancing. Let's talk about dancing. How did you develop it? And then why do you like to dance?

It feels like, like, why did you just like, it frees me from everything? I feel like I'm flying in heaven. Oh, wow. Yeah, it feels nice to dance.

That's it. Tell me more, flying in heaven. Tell me more. I need your imagination, man.

Like it all depends on the music, like which music you're dancing to. If it's like a slow music, then you'll be like, you have to produce slow steps or extremely fast steps. So you'll be like, because it's a slow song, you'll be like, you're flying or something because you have to do like those steps. And if it's like a rap song or something, then you have to do a really fast step.

So you'll be like, you're in a hurry for some young visitor, like, young, when you're five minutes to catch a train, like that. Right. Wow. Wow.

So, very good. I really loved talking to you. I learned about painting from you, the way you embrace painting and then the way you embrace dancing. One last question.

When you become, I mean, how do you want to take your painting or dancing? I think painting you're more passionate. How do you want to take it to the next level? Like, what's your dream?

Actually, I don't want to take painting as a career or something. I actually prefer to be a teacher when I grow up. So painting is just like, you know, it's my hobby, but I don't want to take it as a career. So I'm not like, I don't know how to take it as a job and do it.

I just do it for enjoying, for the sake of enjoying. Perfect. Do you have anything to say, any questions to ask me? What are your views?

What are my views? Is that what I got? No, what are your hobbies? Oh, my hobbies.

Interesting question. My hobbies are, I think, I think, I think, very good question. I didn't think too much about it. Like you kids, you know, beautiful.

I love the way you think about it and then you manifest it. I like art as a general thing, you know, when I was doing my craft in my ninth grade, we had something like an album which we had to create. So you had to create a piece of, you know, stitching work, a piece of your knitting work, drawing work and all that stuff. So when I created that piece, I got third price in my class.

So, but then we are not allowed to pursue those things when I'm talking about our generation. So what, you know, we just go and study, study, study, study. So I didn't pursue. So now I'm seeing myself, you know, doing all these Woolworth creation, creating some, watching the YouTube, I like to knit.

I like, I crocheted it's not something I was very interested, but then I see that crochet goes faster. You can create something faster. So I'm doing that. I also like to put on Goli Colum and the typical, you know, typical, I don't like to reinvent anything, but I just like to make the simple.

And then in that, I like to do some, add my own, you know, my own flavor or genre or whatever it is and then create the final piece. Did I answer that question? Okay. All right.

So it was so great Anushia to hang out with you in this part, in this episode of the podcast. And let me see if I get time and if I get the opportunity, then we should hang out in more episodes. And before I let you go, wish you a very, very happy newer and the great year ahead. And you have a fantastic day.

Thank you. We should see the same. Bye. Bye.
