Springbok team doctor Konrad von Hagen has confirmed that flyhalf Patrick Lambie suffered a concussion and has been ruled out of the second Test against Ireland at Emirates Airline Park on Saturday the 18th of June 2016. Lambie was stretched off in the yesterday’s 20-26 loss to Ireland at Newlands after colliding with South African born flank CJ Stander who received a red card for the incident. Von Hagen said that Lambie should be available for the third Test which will be played on the 25th of June 2016, in Port Elizabeth, if all goes well with his recovery.
