Lamech's Vengeance

In this episode, we look at Jesus’ command to us, for us to forgive always. We look at why when he told Peter to forgive seventy times seven times, he used an exact number and how that number correlates in other versions to the only other place in scripture where we find that same number used. We find that there’s a special connection to Lamech who wanted vengeance, not forgiveness. We then look at the parable of the servant forgiven of his master who then wouldn’t forgive his fellow servant of a much smaller debt. We look at all the lessons we can learn about this about why and how we’re to forgive those who’ve wronged us. Let’s make the choice today to forgive.
