***This episode of Bowl After Bowl was originally published May 13, 2014. The title and notes have been republished as originally written*** Hey there Bowlers! We've been gone for a week but are back at it tonight with another episode! Lance Nichols joined us last week but we lost audio quality and had to redo the recording this afternoon. Lance is a Mizzou student in the English department and is an aspiring creative fiction writer. We discuss his path to and through Mizzou and what his future plans might entail. Laurien Rose also joins us as a special cohost. We may be seeing more of Laurien on the show now that she's out of the Missourian. Laurien, Lance and I discuss the recent Columbia Manhunt, the utter silliness of #BringBackOurGirls, why you should listen to the No Agenda podcast and how Laurien cured her own kidney infection without any help from Obama. If you'd like to read some of Lance's work, he gave us a story he's working on for one of his English courses that you may read below: Metal-Head Lastly, check out Laurien's footage and photos from Friday night's insane blockade downtown involving the Columbia Police Department, MUPD, Boone County Sheriff's Department and FBI.
