A German documentary photographer, focusing on the social and environmental impact of the climate crisis. She has a B.F.A in Photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design (USA). For the last six years, Maren has been documenting the worldwide rediscovery of industrial hemp, photographing more than 200 projects, carrying out interviews with over 80 industry experts and traveling to 26 countries to find out about hemp’s potential to mitigate our world’s ecological crisis. This conversation is presented by Her Many Voices Foundation and facilitated by Myrna James. James is a publisher, journalist, and interpreter of high tech.
