LANDO HAS A WIN AND THE ALL-TOO SHORT COMEBACK OF DANNY RIC

from The Pitlane Punters Podcast · host Pitlane Punters

The Pitlane Punters Podcast returns after another jam-packed weekend of motorsport action around the world, highlighted by a brilliant Miami Grand Prix weekend. McLaren got their first Grand Prix win since 2021, as Lando Norris finally claimed that elusive maiden F1 win, whilst his Australian teammate Oscar Piastri was in a strong position before his race unravelled. Fellow Australian Daniel Ricciardo seemed to have a remarkable weekend building after finishing fourth in the Sprint, before his fortunes took a turn for the worse in the main event. There was plenty more going on Stateside as well, as Kyle Larson and Chris Buescher fought out the closest finish in NASCAR history at Kansas mere hours after the Miami GP. Cam Waters made his second Truck Series start in the Cup Series curtain raiser, and got right into the thick of it with a heated post-race exchange. Shane van Gisbergen also revealed a Marcos Ambrose throwback livery for his upcoming Xfinity start in Darlington, as NASCAR enters its Throwback Weekend. All that and more, including Team Penske’s reaction to the IndyCar Push to Pass saga, and the latest on the potential sale of Erebus Motorsport, on the latest Pitlane Punters Podcast.
