Landport, Marathon Record, Unsung Hero Sports Awards, Route 45 Music Festival

The beautification of Landport has been awarded to Profiled Contractors Limited for the sum of £913,000. Our reporter Ian Triay Clarence filled us in about the project.Athlete Kim Baglietto has set a new National record for the marathon. She completed the Zurich Maraton de Sevilla in 2 hours, 59 minutes and 50 seconds - that's five minutes and 39 seconds faster! The now broken National record was set in 2016 by Emma Montiel, stood at 3hours, 5 minutes and 29 seconds. We caught up with Kim in the studio.The GBC Sports ‘Unsung Hero Award’ is coming up, which last year went to Kyra Sene. Nominations are still being accepted. GBC Sports Coordinator John Shephard was here to tell us more.On Saturday, The Route 45 festival will raise money for Cancer Relief. Starting from 5pm, Viceroy Gibraltar will host eight bands, two DJs, and more. Steven Noni Bellilo, Albert Fernandez and Nicholas Hassan were in the studio to discuss all things live music.
