Lorraine crossed paths with Russell in 2010, during her internship in Australia. An unexpected encounter that, little by little, became undeniable. Their love story bloomed naturally, but a devastating piece of news would soon change their fate: Russell was diagnosed with cancer.⚠️ TW: illness, death, grief – Please note, this episode discusses difficult and sensitive topics.Despite the distance, they chose to fight together. For two years, Aurore and Russell maintained a long-distance relationship between Europe and Australia, until Aurore decided to join him and build a life together. While Russell was in remission, they got engaged and began planning their wedding. Sadly, they learned the illness had returned, and Russell’s days were numbered. They brought their wedding forward to celebrate their love, and just a few days later, Russell passed away and became one of the stars.A love story that is both heart-wrenching and full of light. A deeply moving tale that also reminds us of the strength and beauty of love.
