Language: barrier or bridge?

We take our language for granted, and don’t really think much about it. But what about those around us who don’t speak English, or not very well? What issues and challenges do they face, and what opportunities are there to build a relationship and to change a life? Is there a role for people of faith – individually or in congregations?
