1 Peter 1:2 "Grace to you and peace be multiplied." English greetings no longer incorporate God, peace, or grace. Pastor Kirk encourages followers of Jesus Christ to evaluate their speech and to make an effort to greet fellow brethren with godly greetings. How does the world know you are a child of God? Does your language convey or identify your faith? Incorporating godly minded speech into our greetings may cause unbelievers to inquire about the meaning giving you an opportunity to witness. Let your language be against the grain. One of the hardest tasks is to change your speech. James 3:1-12. Meditate on what you say so you can be blessed and be a blessing to others.
