Laois Ladies, leagues and Star of the Week

Another busy weekend of GAA action has come to an end and the Talking Sport Podcast is here to guide you through it.  The main action took place on Sunday where the Laois Ladies travelled to Kinnegad and defeated Wicklow.  It sends them back to the All-Ireland semi finals where they will face Clare in two weeks time.  There was also significant action in the local hurling and football leagues.  The top Divisions in hurling have all had winners crowned with Rathdowney-Errill scooping Division 1A and 1B. While Abbeyleix defeated Colt-Shanahoe in a very entertaining Division 2 final.  In football, the final pairings in the top three divisions are now all known after the weekend's games.  David Sheeran of Abbeyleix was crowned our second Star of the Week last week.  Now we have our three nominees for this week's accolade.
