Whispers of The Ancestors Alexander Mackintosh Whispers of The Ancestors is a journey into the poetic heart of folklore, where timeless tales and ancient wisdom come alive in verse. Each episode presents poems inspired by myths and legends from around the world, distilling the stories of magic and mystery, of heroism and heartbreak, passed down through generations. Through these verses, we celebrate the universal truths and profound humanity woven into the fabric of cultures across time and place. As a writer captivated by storytelling, I created Whispers of The Ancestors to honor the storytellers of old and rekindle the power of folklore. These poems echo the rhythms and cadences of age-old narratives, inviting listeners to connect with the wisdom of our ancestors and rediscover how their stories resonate today. Join me in this poetic exploration of folklore to unlock the whispers of the past and reveal the enduring secrets of our shared humanity. Illuminations (Poésies complètes) by Arthur Rimbaud Loyal Books Illuminations include some autobiographical allusions to his voyant (visionary) period, which began in 1869; but Illuminations is neither a confession nor an apology. Its several dozen short prose works and two free-verse poems transcend prose grammar by allowing their words to drift away from their dictionary definitions. Ever-elusive, relentless, overflowing with sinuous cadences, Illuminations transcends Une Saison en Enfer as it in turn had transcended Rimbaud’s early verses. Some scholars even propose that some of the Illuminations may have been written after Une Saison, which supposedly marked his farewell to literature. Otherworld: Cadences by F. S. Flint (1885 - 1960) LibriVox English author Frank Stuart Flint was a prominent poet in the Imagist movement, along with Ezra Pound and T E. Hulme. Flint abandoned school at the age of 13 to pursue rigorous self-study, eventually mastering 10 languages, including French and Latin, while working at various jobs. At 17, he took up poetry, inspired by the writing of Keats. He published the first of his three books of poetry, (In the Net of the Stars) when he was 24. This early work channels Keats and Shelley in its love lyrics. This, his third and last book of poetry, reflects the influence of innovative French poetry, the Imagist movement and the his friendship with Ezra Pound. At age 35, following the death of his wife, he ceased poetry altogether, but continued writing the authoritative translations of French works for which he is also well-known. - Summary by Nemo Emmanuelle Aussedat : Lithographs Dhalgren Gallery Lithographs, by Emmanuelle Aussedat - C1 - Cactus Andalou red - Both painting and lithographic work is about the color black: Essence of black! Use the black color to seize the expressive and sensual power of the line or the form to express landscapes, borders, or rhythms, cadences,.. A specific musicality inducted into reality; Black color that organizes, structures, wide colored fields. No abstraction! But an attempt to conduct the troubling experience of painting; “from memory” to abstract from reality; No great pictorial subjects! But chosen subjects; confidential observations that release their secrets; the organic intimacy of things or, with an offbeat humor, the transcription of the barcode idea, or of the catalogues
