LaQuanda Plantt- Talks About Her Love For Casting & Gives Actors Advice On Auditioning

LaQuanda Plantt, founded ElleQ Casting in 2009. ElleQ Casting is a casting company specializing in Principal Casting for any type of project from feature films to music videos. Her credits include the feature films Walk Away from Love starring Noree Victoria, Brad James, Brely Evans and Robert Christopher Riley & For the Love of Christmas which aired on BET, as well as the films, First Impression, Pierre Jackson, and Professor Mack, all of which are currently available on Netflix. In 2014, LaQuanda assisted with Extras Casting for the Academy Award winning film “Selma”. In addition to Casting Director, LaQuanda is also a Producer and she made her Directorial Debut in 2017 when she shot her first short film, Valerie Morgan: TV Qualified and recently directed her second film, Stockholm. She is transitioning into a filmmaker, graduating from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 2018 with a BA in Video Production & Digital Filmmaking.
