Lara Maysa: Creativity, Consciousness & Alchemy

In this episode our founder Nour Hassan speaks to Lara Maysa - British Egyptian Nude and Women's Empowerment photographer, Portrait Photographer, Documentary Filmmaker, Storyteller, Consciousness Explorer, and Believer in all things Magic and founder of Haus of Light. Lara was born in Egypt, raised in Thailand and adopted by Bali. Her mission through photography is to activate women into stepping back into their raw, authentic power and beauty in a filtered and photoshopped world. Having gone deep in her own spiritual journey, she uses creativity and art as a bridge to profound transformation and healing. She is based between London and Bali to balance the stimulation of the city with a strong dose of nature. When visiting her hometown, Cairo, you can find her meditating in the Pyramids and stumbling upon desert Stargates. This episode taught me so much about the creative process, self discovery, transformation, and how to harness your own life narrative and make it into something meaningful. We speak about going from the rat race in London to spiritual exploration in Bali, what the camera lens can truly reveal and unveil about a person, how to get your life back on track and how to lose yourself and   then find yourself again through magic.
