Mike Thomas authored the critically acclaimed oral history The Second City Unscripted: Revolution and Revelation at the World-Famous Comedy Theater (Villard, 2009) and is a longtime arts/entertainment staff writer at the Chicago Sun-Times, where he frequently writes about comedy.
