Larry June | Before They Were Famous
from Before They Were Famous Hosted by Michael McCrudden
Larry June is a Bay area rapper who spent a pretty decent portion of his childhood growing up in the city of Atlanta as well. Today, he draws on aspects of both those cities to create a flow that’s as gritty as it is smooth. But what really separates Larry from the rest of his peers is his willingness to embrace a healthy and mindful lifestyle. I mean, how many other rappers do you know are working on their own brand of orange juice? Larry’s the type of hip-hop head who can spend the entire day hanging out with hustlers and then ride home on his bicycle while dreaming up raps about his newest wellness kick. He’ll spit bars about smoothies, financial freedom, and cars – but what he really likes to stunt on is his newest expensive blender. How did this dude go from spending his youth on the street to becoming one of the freshest voices in all of hip-hop? You’re about to find out on our newest episode of Before They Were Famous.
