Las Vegas Heat Records Shattered in 2026 | Las Vegas News

Las Vegas is breaking heat records like never before—2026 alone has seen 86 days hit 100°F, with 23 soaring past 110°F, a level only reached five times in history. The city’s hottest day ever, 120°F on July 7, 2024, shattered decades of silence above 117°F. That same year, 112 days hit 100°F and 36 cracked 110°F—including 11 straight scorchers in July. Since 2000, the decade has already logged more 110°F days than any prior decade, signaling a relentless climb in extreme heat.
