Las Vegas Heatwave Finally Cooling | Las Vegas News

Las Vegas just hit 100 degrees — and it might be the last time we see that heat this year. After a brutal week with temps soaring to 107, things are finally cooling down, with highs dropping into the upper 90s by Friday. Meteorologists warn a possible mini-heat spike next weekend, but for now, enjoy the breeze and dry skies — the monsoon season has been almost nonexistent this year, with zero measurable rain since early September. With August as the hottest on record and the first 115-degree day already logged, relief is temporary — but welcome.
