00:00 Well, last night there was a special election over in Georgia's 14th district, kind of in the northwestern corner of Georgia. It goes all the way from the northwest corner of Georgia, kind of down to um kind of horizontal to Atlanta. ah This is Marjorie Taylor Greene's old district. And this guy um 00:27 Mr. Fuller won that race. Now, uh Clay Fuller was endorsed by President Donald Trump. And he is now going to be the representative of Georgia's 14th district. He was going up against a guy named Sean Harris. uh And as I was looking through all of this stuff last night and early this morning, uh I just got to tell you, the Georgia Secretary of State election website is phenomenal. 00:56 I wish we could have this here in South Carolina. Find out who makes that website for the state of Georgia and you guys hire them because it is absolutely amazing. It really is. It's very, very interactive. But this was what really surprised me because I wanted to see what the voter turnout was. So if you look at overall voter turnout, just overall, 01:21 in that district they had 18.3 % voter turnout. 18.3. Now, if you go to election day only, that's a little bit lower, but it's still pretty significant. They had, let's see, election day only 11.7 % election day. Overall, 18.3%. The only, 01:51 Okay, so last night I'm sitting there, I'm kind of following these election results a little bit, and I'm seeing this headline, a nail biter in Georgia. So I said, oh no, is Clay Fuller in trouble in the 14th? So I look on it and it was literally like with 2 % of precincts reported. That was it. I was like, oh, okay. Well, that's a little early to be calling a nail biter just yet. So you wake up this morning and he actually won. Where Harris did win, 02:20 was Cobb County. And I thought this was very interesting in Cobb County because Cobb County had the highest voter turnout of all the counties in Georgia with a 16.4 % voter turnout, which I thought was very interesting. uh And the big ones that were voting in this race, Caucasians, number one, females, 02:51 voted heavily in this race. Females made up 52.6 % of all the people that were voting. Males made up 47.3 and then you had 0.1 % other, not sure what they are. In the age group, when you look at the voters there, 60 to 64 year olds, they were the big voting turnout on election day. Now if you go to total turnout, 03:19 Now you got 60 to 64 and then 60 to 69, they were pretty much neck and neck. But then if you go to the total turnout, Cobb County had 28.7%. 03:37 Now again, that's the only county that Harris lost, but if Georgia... 03:46 can come out at 28, almost 29 % voter turnout. I was just thinking, oh my goodness. 03:55 How awesome would that be here in South Carolina? awesome would it be? Coming up on June 10th. 04:04 that we woke up that morning, we're scouring through all the data, and we saw that Greenville County had a 29 % voter turnout. Let me tell you what I would do. Here's what I would do. J.J. Martin, my words. I would do a cartwheel in the parking lot of this radio station. If we could get 29 % voter turnout, 04:32 Instead of that measly 13 % voter turnout, 13 and a half percent. Man, that would be glorious. That would be glorious. Now, some counties like Dade had 12 and a half, Walker 12 and a half, lots of them in the 12s. But here we got Cobb 28%, Paulding County 21%, Polk County 23%, Floyd County 24%. 05:02 That's pretty amazing. It really was. really, I mean, I'm just, I was pretty thrilled with that. So again, my goodness. So Clay Fuller won with 55.9 % of the vote. Sean Harris got 44.1%.
