00:00 All right, welcome to the program on your Friday afternoon and my gosh, what a busy Friday it is. Let me tell you how the day breaks down. right. You get up, I start working at, know, um well, whenever I get up, but right around seven o'clock, things start to move a little bit. So then we got a little bit of a low, right? Right after seven o'clock and then about 11 o'clock, things really start kind of going crazy. 00:30 in the news. And then about 2.30, all heck breaks loose. And that's exactly what happened today. We got a lot to talk about um on this beautiful Friday afternoon. uh I want to tell you, we're going to talk about this coming up in uh just a second. um President Trump has signed an executive order that will pay TSA agents. Now this is back 00:56 pay included. we do not know about future payments just yet. They don't know where the money is going to come from just yet. But the OMB, the Office of Management and Budget, they're going to have to do some creative accounting to get this done. And again, I got some more to say about that, but we'll do that in the next segment. So last night, the Senate voted on this package 01:24 that would fund TSA, they would fund everybody except for ICE. Now, hold on a second. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, hey Charlie. 01:40 I thought ICE was already funded through the One Big Beautiful bill. Aha, well, you're sort of right. We've all been sort of right. Because now we're finding out that what is funded in the One Big Beautiful bill is just the operations of ICE. um Non-law enforcement, office personnel. 02:06 Those type of things are not funded. So anybody that works with ICE or Customs and Border Patrol, they're not getting paid unless they are a law enforcement officer in ICE. It also shuts down the child trafficking operations. That is absolutely unbelievable. So not everything in ICE is funded. So here you got John Thune. 02:33 He comes up with this bill or at least approves of this bill. Now granted, it does not give into any of the concessions from the Democrats. doesn't do anything about, you know, defunding ICE in any way. It doesn't do anything about, you know, not wearing masks. It doesn't do anything about all of these ridiculous warrants they're asking for everybody to get. so none of the demands that the Democrats put out there are in this bill that the Senate sent to the House. However, 03:04 The folks in the House, including Mike Johnson, are not very happy with this bill. Get all the members together and decide that's better this morning about say it's infuriating that Democrats are willing to inflict pain on the American people simply so they can defund the agency that is responsible literally for removing criminal illegal aliens. All right, so wait a minute. Hold on. Let's continue. Yeah, I mean, he's exactly right. Now he stopped. 03:32 well short of blaming John Thune, but I'm not going to do that. I'm going to blame John Thune on this. You know, maybe you and John Thune go to breakfast and brunch, but I don't. John Thune could have nipped all of this in the butt, but no, what is John Thune doing? He's out of there. They're gone. They're on two weeks vacation. What the Senate just sent over to the House is so laughably bad, we're rejecting it out of hand. They sent over a bill that's not going to fund ICE and Border Patrol and stand with the great men and women who are defending our country. We reject that. We're going to stand alongside our law enforcement personnel.
